Beyond the Basics How To Draw An Arc Which Goes Through The Dots Automatically?

    Let’s say I put 5 dots.

     

    Now I want to draw an Arc which goes through these dots.

     

    How can I do this?

    1. Draw with bezier tool a path that goes through these dots (it's shape and probably the dot order don't matter : just don't add extra nodes).
    2. Then open LPE's panel, apply ellipse by 5 points LPE
    3. In LPE's panel, right to the effect applied, there is an eye and a bin icon, just next a dropdown : choose flatten.
    4. Then with node tool, or with boolean operations, you can trim any excess to turn the ellipse into an arc.
