I need to draw a leg with a stocking on in (Like on https://hazbinhotel.fandom.com/wiki/Loona?file=Loona+Render+by+MikiMatzuki.png - right leg).

    Seems easy to do

    I) make external contour, draw lines fully crossing the area, divide areas in 3 parts (above, below the stocking and stocking itself) and color them all

    +-) Easy to do

-) Inkscape not always fully colors closed segment

-) Moving area dividers requires re-coloring

II) Draw segment so it goes below the stocking top line and then add stocking segment coreving that first part

    +) Control of both segments

-) Tedious process to fit borders horizontally across layers

    IiI) Tried Path-Division

If divider if not a straight line then borders gets a lot of nodes

Remove one border and clear the other of nodes?

After the path is breaked on leftmost and rightmost nodes of border - on one side the border lines stays below the segment line:

(horizontal line is border) and cant be easlly moved without changing the position of other line

Seems that option 1 is easiest to do but gives less control over areas

Any other options I am missing?
