This is somehow a continuation of the thread I need help making straight segments where I asked for how to make the figure look great with solid colors.
Now I need to add gradients to that figure. It should look like this:
This is what I got so far with Inkscape using gradients to blue, yellow and border parts:
As you can see, there is still work to be done.
The most critical thing is to get the relief of the logo, since I used Stroke but there are some gaps in white and blue:
If you can help me replicate it as much as possible or give me a tutorial, I would appreciate it.
@TylerDurden sorry. I am asking for replicating as much as possible the first image. The second image shows what I have done, and the third shows with detail how the border should look like. I think I replicated it very well, but I don't know how to make the border of the logo.
@TylerDurden that's exactly the method I was searching. However I have created narrower edges than others, the ends are an example. Maybe it's because I didn't understand the steps well:
I expanded a little the background to simulate the border, but I am not sure if you meant that.

It is possible that the white strokes are too big and covering the fill. Total Guess since I am not sure of the construction.
@awolf thanks for your help!
I don't think I can understand what you mean. However you can take a look at the first image where the border is not edited. Hope it helps.
Can someone help me, please?
It is not clear what the problem is.
Are you asking for help for a technical issue, or creative?

OK. I'm not an artist or designer. Maybe a real artist or designer can give better advice.
Here is how I'd approach it:

I think that will still be fine. Generally, if it looks good, it is good.
