What happened to the measure tool that looks like a ruler in version 1.1? It used to reside on the left sidebar 5th icon down from the top. It can still be activated by pressing "M" on the keyboard but that is not the same as being able to click the icon to activate the function. Where did it go? I don't see anywhere in the preferences to turn it on of off as a default?
OK - Thanks! WE see the issue now. There were too many icons to see at at the same time we are using a double line windows bottom toolbard which was crowding the inkscape screen.
We would like to free up some space along the left toolbar. Is it possible in the preferences or elsewhere to select only the tool icons we would like to have displayed?

It´s the last in the left hand toolbar; if it´s not visible due small display size find a small triangle icon to expand what´s not visible.

The toolbar-tool.ui file can be edited.
Got it, sounds perfect!
Thank you Tyler!
