Hi all, I'm wanting to measure individual section lengths of paths.
For example a rectangle with rounded corners. I've worked out how to measure the straight edges overall (pic 1) and how to measure the corners if I create an arc and add it to the rectangle (pic 2 + 3).
I cannot work out how to measure just the straight section between the rounded corners or arcs of the rectangle.

the LPE "Measure Segments" will exactly do this:
I can't find this feature. I've used the search/help area with no joy. I'm using Mac if that makes any difference.
While the Rectangle is selected go Path-Path Effects-> hit the "+" button and find "Measure Segments"....

Select the rectangle. In the Inkscape menu choose [Path > Path Effects...]
(I only use the English interface. I don't know what these are called in other languages.)
