I spend some time to try to reproduce your work but I was stopped by the language in the first time (see screen image) , impossible to find your PatheOps custom. So, I downloaded e new version, put it in english. But again I can't find the "Extensions" and "generate from path" etc. Could you tell me how it works in the latest version ? Thank you in advance.
You are on Mac? If OSX=Catalina & v1.0, I suggest using a dual boot system with Linux &v.92.x. If it's possible on your Mac to use v.92.2, more extensions like PathOps Custom are available.
Here is a way with Catalina/1.0. using simple Path Difference operation using a rectangle as tool:
