How to draw a white filled circle, and drag it to the bottom of the another objects stack? I have trouble to move it into required position, and place it behind the another object, not in front of that object.
There are stacking (z-order) buttons in the select tool controls.
I suggest exploring the Tutorials in Inkscape's Help menu. Basic function are covered there and in the manual.
Maybe the problem is that you have more than one layer and the circle is located on a higher layer.
