After using certain filters, the object's size increases, but the corner where it snaps remains the same as before applying the filter. How can I get the corner (for snapping purposes) to shift to match the new corner of the larger perimeter?
The snapping will always be to the original path regardless of any filers applied.
I would use Ctrl+c to copy then CtrlΒ + Alt + V to paste in place.
Press End to send to back, then < and > to adjust the 2nd object to match the original filter border. The step szie can be modified by holding ctrlΒ or alt
