Today I tried to install Inkscape 1.2 on my Kubuntu 22.04 machine through ppa but got this error:

Using the 1.1 PPA at time it failed. Removed CLI and let it install 1.1 from repo.
Added correct PPA and installed.
Maybe there are remnants left, could remove first and install from PPA. Works here, actually purged once with no issue in Inkscape just so I could see what actual extensions are fresh installed for my backup records.

If no answer from above I did have initial issue in I chose the wrong PPA. At time it was not out yet for 1.2.
Used this link for 1.2 PPA https://launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/+archive/ubuntu/stable-1.2

Thanks Mendy. I had also old PPAs there. I removed them after using the above solution.
