i don't know why inkscape can't handle this, i didn't had this with a project i have finished last year
in the gallery you can see numbers and when i type 3, 1, 0, 7 and the 3 suddenly there is a space between 1 and 0. how can i prevent this? is it because of the font linux libertine and windows 10? i have installed inkscape from the ms store which i am thankfully that such a great program is available there and easy to update. inkscape version 1.1
First check under Text->Remove Manual Kerns. if this wonยดt help try Inkscape Preferences->System Reset Preferences and restart Inkscape - if thatยดs not helping either itยดs highly recommended to deinstall former versions of Inkscape before installing 1.2.
it's because of the font, that's why i have also strange symbols which i have to hide (i mark them and set them another font), which you can see in the attachement.
with linux libertine g i have problems but with liberation serif everything is correct.

Please read again above.
Canยดt help with the font issue on Linux.
The MS Store version of Inkscape is automatically updated if/when the Inkscape developers decide to upgrade from 1.1 to a newer version.
In my experience, it's not necessary to uninstall the MS Store version before installing one of the other desktop versions.
The Linux libertine font seems to work here in Inkscape 1.1 MS Store version.
i have windows 10 x64. it's ok i use liberation serif instead of linux libertine G
