As was discussed in the old forum (https://forum.inkscapecommunity.com/index.php?topic=1848.0 ) some of what you want to do can be done with Inkscape. But as Lazur explained, it would not necessarily be fast or easy to do it. I wonder if you could find a way to contact Alex Fox, and ask him what program he uses.
Personally, I think most or all of what you want to do can be done with Inkscape. But again, it won't always be fast or easy. There would be ways to fix the places where the path offsets create curves where you want sharp corners. And there might even be other ways to accomplish the paths, besides using the offset paths. In some cases, like with circles or squares (anything that's symmetrical in both x and y directions) could be made with scaling, rather than offset paths.
But it certainly wouldn't hurt if you could find a CAD program, and try it. You might end up prefering it better. I'm sure there are free CAD programs around.

Hi Lazure and Brynn, I just saw on the old forum the video of Alex Fox that was posted, That is exactly the type of pattern making I want to do!
I don't want to copy Alex Fox's patterns but to use his technique to make My own pattern ideas, I am thinking He's using another program to do them,
But i was wondering if it could be possible to do them using Inkscape?

Hi Brynn, Thank you for the heads up about the idea looking for a CAD program, I can't afford adobe programs as they are rather expensive!
