I have purchased an SVG file to use on my K40 laser cutter. The file contains text "3 MM" at the top as part of the file. I have tried several methods found online to remove the text. Here are links to what I have tried.

if its a paid for svg file I assume you cant post it , does the site you got it from have any free sample examples we can look at ?

Got it. All the objects are in a group.

I'd double-click on the 3 to enter the group, the click on any object to select it, then hit delete to remove it.

Double-click anywhere off the objects to exit the group and save.

I have this issue with my cuter (Brother Scan and Cut).  What Tyler said + resave it as a different name.

ALSO for anyone following this thread, I discovered the key is to OPEN the SVG file in Inkscape, NOT import it!😁
