According to info I find on the interwebs, saving as a plain svg is supposed to only include visible layers. This is not the case. When I import the plain svg created this way, into Lightburn, all of the layers are there. The only way I can export only visible layers is to use export, only selected.
Hey folks,
According to info I find on the interwebs, saving as a plain svg is supposed to only include visible layers. This is not the case. When I import the plain svg created this way, into Lightburn, all of the layers are there. The only way I can export only visible layers is to use export, only selected.
Is this normal?
Thank you!
The interwebs are wrong. Hidden objects are retained in the event there are scripting features to unhide/hide in interactive SVGs.
It seems* LB can disregard hidden Ai elements on import... Requests to the LB devs for this feature on SVG import must exist.
