Is there any way to get the tollbar submenu spacing back to toolbar?
I have some very text heavy projects to do and for that such an option would be very handy. System is Windows 10, with Inkscape 1.2.1 (9c6d41e410, 2022-07-14) or Inkscape 1.3-dev (de05b55e, 2022-08-04).
Hello guessing you want basically the lower toolbar back in the main toolbar without having to press the A/A Spacing button. Did not quickly find a setting. Similar questions arise on the Snap Bar. Lots of changes in 1.2. UM22.04 1.2.1
Possibly if no answers you might enter a feature request at

Yes, that would be very helpfull. The now used pop-over could stay as an option but on a full-hd monitor there is enough space to display it like in version 1.1.
