    Wrapping text using Flowed text:

ProTip: Copy the flowed text object and put off the page or hide it. Convert the visible flowed text to normal. This will help it display in browers and other renderers.

TD shows automatic text wrapping.  For non-automatic, I just use the Enter key (which back in the day was called Return).  It still functions as the old carriage return, with Text tool.  👵

THanks -  got the window working.  Please move more slowly.  it took me a 1/2 hour to get all the deatails right because it moved quickly

    Flowed text:

Simple option:  when I hit return it jumps down the page a few inches.  Any idea why?

This is what finally fixed it for me.

With Text tool enabled, look on the control bar, just to the right of the dropdown menu where you can choose the text size.  It has an icon that looks like a black A on top of a gray A.  Set that to 1.0.  And just to the right of that, is a dropdown menu for choosing the units.  There you need to choose the blank option - it's at the very top of the menu - it's blank.  Click that.

If the 1.0 that you set, changes when you click the blank units option, re-set it to 1.0.

I can't explain why, but making those settings is what fixed it for me.
