Is there a step by step guide to removing the background on a logo?  I have watched a few videos but I am a read a do kind of girl.  Thanks

I'm sure there must be a tutorial somewhere, but I don't have a specific link.  If you can show us the logo, we can tell you how to do it.

Is the image a raster image or vector image?  If it's a vector image, Inkscape can do it easily.  If it's a raster image (JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF) Inkscape is probably not the best tool to use.

But show us the image, and we can tell you more.

I figured it out from a youtube that actually went slow enough I could write down the steps.
