Hi everybody, first time here. First of all I wish to thank all developers for such a great program, currently I'm using it on Windows 10, but I would prefer stay on Linux. Unfortunately on Linux Elementary it crashes every time I try to open or save a file, and sometimes it gets back other generic and sudden crashes too. If I can help at your disposal. Thanks

You could try the Inkscape .92.xx versions. They are more stable across OSs. I can't vouch for Elementary, but LinuxMint runs Inkscape ( .92.xx) quite well.

Thank you very much for your reply and yes, Inkscape 0.92.xx run quite well indeed on Elementary too. I will wait for the next updates so that I can get all the most from Inkscape 1.x.x. Thanks again

    Hello Gnuserland,
sorry to be late, thanks for suggestion. I tried, but I get crash all the same. And then I didn't touch any settings, just tried out of the box. We'll see then.
    Have a nice day, thanks
