Beginners' Questions Can I create a custom page size and make it the default?

    I have a standard page setup I like to work from, 1000x1000px with 1:1 scale and pixels as units. Every time I create a new document I need to open the preferences dialog and change the page size. 

    Is there a way I can create a custom page size that I can one-click select?

    Even better, is there a way to make this the default document size?

    Yes, once created your own template, save it: File/Save Template, check "set as default template".
