I found a bug with stroke to path.

Before and after stroke to path:

Steps to replicate:

1. Create new file. (Choose icon 32x32 for better visibility, but it works with any other)
2. Turn on all snaping options. (For simplicity)
3. Draw a streight line with bazier curve from one corner of page to the other. (It can even overlap beyond the pages corners.
4. Set stroke color and rounded ends of stroke.
5. Then convert stroke to path.
6. And now you have replicated the bug.

Update:

I found out its visual bug, but its still anoying.

Works fine here in Inkscape 1.3.2 (091e20e, 2023-11-25, custom) Win 10

1. Describe your OS (your computer's Operating System: Mac/Windows/Linux/etc. & version).
2. Describe if Inkscape was newly installed, or upgraded from an earlier version.
3. Describe the version of Inkscape and the installer you used (the file you downloaded from the website: .msi/.exe/.zip/other ). 
4. Describe any special hardware being used, like tablet/stylus, external drives or multiple monitors.
5. Describe any helper/assistive programs or keyboard modifiers (macros, languages, etc.).

Bonus points, if you:

• Attach* a screenshot of the issue.
• Attach* an example SVG file that has the issue.

1. I am on Arch linux with kde plasma wayland.
2. Inkscape is upgraded from a earlier version.
3. Its installed with pacman
4. I have two monitors, but inkscape is only on one.
5. I dont have any.

I already attached screenshot in post above and this porblem isnt tied to specific file and I can easily replicate it in new file.

Since Inkscape has been updated, I'd reset the preferences. https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/getting-back-to-square-one-and-starting-over-its-easy/

Working here also under Linux Mint 21, Inkscape 1.3.2, installed via PPA.

Reseting the preferences was first thing that I tried. I wont try to solve this bug anymore. Its really specific and does not effect function of inkscape. I only wanted to report it.
