Pacer, I really like this design. Not knowing much about your venue, what comes to mind is exploring the concepts of beyond, further, boundaries, vicinity, and turf.
Maybe juggling these notions around will inspire you with more ideas. Your wording of "outlearn" is cool. As in learning outside and one is "out to learn" ... about themselves or others or a topic or activity. And not just an award for outlearning (excelling beyond another person).
