I am completely new to this world of design and am looking for a program that holds your hand and walks you through the software. I found classes on udemy has anyone tried these are they helpful? Can anyone recommend anything for someone who has no idea about anything? I dont know what paths are or nodes or anything my knowledge skill unfortunately is elementary paint and even then its little. I never even used photoshop before.
I found and am currently taking The Inkscape Master Class (for beginners) by Nick Saporito. He is good at explaining things and also updates his lessons after ver. 1.0 came out.

I suggest exploring the Tutorials in the help menu. Those will give you a glimpse of what's ahead.
