i have an rectangle and want to write text in it. I want to center the text in the object. (from x and y) . How is this possible?
Perhaps Flow text will help: Draw a rectangle, type text, select both and go Text->Flow into Frame. Afaik the frame will not expand automatically with text length if that´s what you´re after. But text will align when frame is scaled for instance.
