I have been using Inkscape for years, it made me download a newer version this morning (V 1.2) Now when I paste a snip it into Inkscape, it is not a clear as the snip it. Is there a setting I am missing? I never had this issue before I have attached a sample It doesn't matter how big or small the snip it is, the always turn out the same.
There is a dropdown Image scale (image-rendering), you can choose between auto/smooth/blocky.
This has no impact on the image code itself, it just adds a style entry to the image.
If you have an existing pasted or imported image and want to change from smooth to blocky you can go to Edit>XML Editor and delete the style entry for the image.
