Beginners' Questions How to make a border around Text (Letters)

    Hi,

    I'm a first time user of Inkscape, and I would like to place a border around Text / Letters, but can't find how to do it.

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    There are different methods available.

    1. double text - give it a thick stroke and put behind 

    2.  give the text a thick stroke and change the render order at the "fill+stroke"-tab->Stroke style

    That works perfect. Found a few other features to use, while in Fill and Stroke.
