    Hello everyone,

Can someone tell me how to fill this gap?

The stuff around it are two seperate objects with a gradient exture.

From here it looks like a black corner node is causing the "gap". Check in View->View mode: outline.

No, there is nothing covering it

Not sure what your object with V is. Whether it was drawn or something imported. I can simulate it with a rectangle path and adding node and dragging to snap on bottom line in image.

When you click on object with v what is it called in status bar? If a path double click on it to see nodes.

    Just guessing.

To me it looks like the result of Path->Difference operation and can´t be a single path conversion on the left side: no sheared ends possible.

If it´s node-wise looking like in mendy´s example simply delete the 3 nodes building that gap.

Hard to say from the screenshot what is foreground, but node editing seems easy enough.

The gap is not an object, so I want to connect these 2 objects

Pardon the rough simulated example of your image.

Still guessing but you can try this, looks like in your image they are paths.
