I'm trying to import a PDF from AI and getting a lot of Font substitutions that seem to just be Mac vs PC issues or maybe AI vs Inkscape issues. But I'm not sure how to fix this.

For example " Font 'Futura PT Demi' substituted with 'Futura PT'  "  I have Future PT but  the "demi" didn't translate to Futura PT, Medium - Demi.  I can use the replace font Extension but when I replace Futura PT" how do I specify I want it Demi  ? (As I am using other weights as well).

Alternatively is there a way to select all 'Futura PT Demi' and I manually change it it to "future PT" then set Demi? When I use select Same then change the font they all get the same Font Size, not keep everything else the same.

For starters, Inkscape follows the guidelines for SVG files which are constrained to CSS rules, including accepted typeface names. So, faces with names that fall outside of the CSS conventions may get substituted in Inkscape.

Users have has success by renaming fonts, but note that if the file is used outside of that machine, the fonts may not render. Converting fonts to paths at publication is advised.
