    My Inkscape doesn't have a path to my external drive.  I have to move files to my internal drive for Inkscape to see them. 

    How do I set a path to external drives?

    Please let us know the Inkscape version, OS and how Inkscape was installed.

     

    My guess is that this is a snap package, in which case you need to execute something like the following (Google for 'snap package removable-media' for more details):

    snap connect inkscape:removable-media
