If you have an object, defined by path, and that object is filled by hundreds of balls of assorted colours can you change all instances of the same colour to white?
It was a jpg image reduced and imported to inkscape. I created object with contiguous path and deleted all balls that fell outside object. Or overlapped path. D
I'd select a colored object, the use Edit>Select Same>Fill color. Then click on any color in the palette (e.g white) to assign them all with the new fill color.
Hello my friends. I'm having a small problem. I open a JPEG file, When I set the colour for bezier, for example 255 red for laser cutting, upon drawing the first line, it returns to black. How can I keep the color on the lines I draw without changing until I do it myself?

Probably. It depends on how the SVG was written.

oes that help? If not how should I have done it.

That would seem to mean that I have to convert each ball into an individual object? Not a practical solution.
Thanks anyway
Rick

Not necessarily.
Feel free to share an example file.
