Is it necessary to draw a Bezier Curve in order, such as beginning in upper left > upper right > lower right > bottom left > close? Or can you reorder them to match the previous order? I duplicated a curve and connected them to form a enclosed shape for the text. There is a old radio tube I have drawn isometrically and I would like to place the text onto it represent it as applied to the surface. UPDATE: I just watched a video on YouTube for this procedure, but the presenter did not show a Bezier Curve made multiple nodes.

Thank you in advance for your input.

Hi it is a great extension. UM22.04 Inkscape 1.2
Seems to have changed in workflow here. Did find that previous rectangle to path doesn't seem to work. Here is my workflow
Usage: Enter text, modify as desired then Path / Combine and Object / Ungroup
Rotate Text Path 90° Clockwise
Create object clockwise consisting of four nodes Path / Object to Path
Important start object at bottom left (change from earlier versions)
Deform object box as desired
Select both text and object (text first selection) Extensions / FabLab Chemnitz / Transformations / Bezier Envelope
Mendy,
What version are u using? FabLab Chemnitz?
BTW. Downloaded 1.2 and Installed it.

Yep the Fablab Chemnitz one.
Realize wrong number on your tube but couldn't remember a common number for that type with the black top. 😀
There is some good information in this post from which I derived the method that works for me.
