It's a great suggestion! Adding categories for Cutter/Plotters and Embroidery could definitely enhance the Inkscape Gallery and cater to a wider audience. It would be worth bringing this up with the gallery moderators or submitting a feature request. If enough users show interest, it might just make it into the gallery!
