    Hi, everybody

I installed eggbot and tried but it said the extension axidraw (not sure it's relation with eggbot) can only run on python 3.6 or higher. I installed python 3.10 but it still doesn't work...

Please give me a advice what to do :( Thanks in advance

Inkscape includes Python by default (it´s 3.8 with version 1.1.2) - so I´m not sure how Inkscape can have access to this standalone installation. On macOS it´s not possible afaik.

So maybe you´re using an older Inkscape version?

I use inkspace 0.92, and after I recieved the error, I installed and python 3.10....

Any reason why not to update Inkscape or installation a second current version? 0.92 is from 2017

Because, I use extention for my laser graver - J tech photonics . The newest version of the extention is for  inkscape 0/92. They have one for 1.0, but it is experemental yet.

Do You think the problem is the older version of inkscape? Thanks

Yes, the current versions of the AxiDraw and EggBot software all require Inkscape 1.0 or newer, since those use Python 3.

There's an archived release of the EggBot software here that runs under Inkscape 0.92: https://github.com/evil-mad/EggBot/releases/tag/v2.8.1
