Using Inkscape with Cutters/Plotters inkscape or cutter problem? entire image is not cut out

    I am using inskape to cut out with a roland gx 24 (just had it serviced by the way), the image is about a meter long and so is the stock I cut onto, yet somehow the image gets moved half way up the page so half the page is blank and half is cut, meaning a lot of wastage.  Can anyone help please
