I am having an issue with the Living Hinge extention as well as some others ever since v. 0.96 and I know of people who have 1.0 and higher with the new living hinge extension and it works on the same windows 10 system.
I uninstall inkscape but when I reinstall it all the old extentions still are there even though I delete all the Inkscape folders form My Computer Program Files.
How can I delete these residual Files or settings from the registry.
I'm going insane with this freaking thing and error. I just want a totally fresh install of inkscape without the old extension settings and want the newly added extensions to work like on other peoples computers as it did for me before.
Open Edit > Preferences, then click on System on the left hand side. There's a list of folder locations there, including Extension. Open the extensions folder and delete whatever you want.
I've deleted it from the folders and had deleted all the extensions but after every fresh install all the old extensions were there again.
After a long diagnostic and search for files I've found the problem. The appdata was always there no matter how many times I uninstall, delete and install fresh.
here is a video on how to fix it, hope it helps others with the problem.
