Background: I've recently been doing several tasks involving layouts where I move and rotate several pieces. Currently my workflow for that involves dragging the object, clicking it to get the rotate arrows to come up and dragging one of them to rotate the object, and often going back and forth between these two multiple times per object to get the layout just how I want it.
I've found myself wishing that while I was dragging an object I could use the scroll wheel to rotate it without releasing, and move and rotate as a single combined action.
I have 4 questions about this idea:
1. Is there already a seamless way to do this I should be using instead of considering a bigger feature?
2. Is this a technically feasible feature?
3. Does anyone else support this feature idea?
4. Is this something that seems approachable as a first contribution to the project if I want to try implementing it myself?
