I need only the outline of the logo in the attached file. If I switch to outline view, I can see the "outline" of the whole logo in green - I think this a clip or a mask?
If I ungroup it (2x) I get only the png image and the actual logo (with the green outline) is gone. I can not use all the path tools (it's not a path). How can I get the logo outline as a path?
Thanks for this, I found it very helpful. I had an Inkscape image that Illustrator did not recognize properly due to the clipping mask. Your answer helped me remove the mask.

Open Object->Objects
find and select "g10" and go object->Clip->Release
select "use5" (the clipping path) and go Edit->Clone->unlink Clone - done.
