I've been using Freehand for more than ten years. Although he has been acquired and can not be updated. Now I find that the overall experience of Inkscape is good, the only problem is the lag, I do not know when to optimize. Can a technician tell me when the upgrade will be optimized?
I've unchecked it, but it's not particularly useful. Can't compete with FREEHAND, AI, or CorelDRAW. If I could optimize the upgrade, this would be the perfect experience for my work.@Tyler Durden
It should be that you and I use different working environments, and I work with very many objects. So there will be a lag. But the same situation does not occur in the software I have used before. I read the link you posted, and many people have raised the same problem as me, so it seems that it can't be solved at the moment. Thanks for the answer anyway.@Tyler Durden

I'd try disabling dithering: Preferences>Rendering>Use Dithering

Use of filters can slow things down. They can be hidden to increase performance. View>display mode>No filters
There are a number of issue related to performance. https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inbox/-/issues/?label_name%5B%5D=performance
I don't feel like my machines (Win , Linux) have much lag.
If you would like to see what's ahead, you can install the development version.
