I've been getting to grips with Inkscape, and have worked on several images now, importing bitmaps into Inkscape then using the Trace Bitmap tool to turn them into vector graphics.
However, this evening, the Trace Bitmap feature has stopped working.
I can see a preview of the image in the dialogue box that opens up, but no traced bitmap occurs. I've tried it with several images, I've restarted Inkscape and my computer, I've tried it with new images and images I know have worked before, and nope. Nothing. It's like I haven't even asked it to do anything--except for the preview screen in the Trace Bitmap clearly showing the image.
I know I must be doing something wrong, but I can't work out what it is. Can anyone help?

Have you clicked the button Apply?
