Hi - I just came over to inkscape because I am also have issue with it crashing -- was looking for a resolve. I have reinstalled it to see if that would work, but it still happens.

For me reinstalling (using the MSI installer on Windows) completely solved the issue.
In the meantime, there's a thread about how you can help with the crashes here.
In my case, it stopped crashing when I disabled the storing feature of clipboard manager.
