I can't find the text alignment buttons in Inkscape 1.0, that is the options for left-aligned, justified and so on that move the text anchor point (not to be confused with object alignment). They used to be in the text options panel in the previous version. They are absolutely essential for working with text. They must be somewhere.
Hi, is there any way to align text along a path? I know the 'text on a path' function, but I mean text alignment along a path so that the start of every new text line follows a path. You see this regularly in newspapers or magazines (the text follows an image or border).

I would make a closed path object with one side following the shape, then flowed text into the object. https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Release_notes/1.0#Overview_of_available_text_types
That's what I was looking for, thanks a lot!
