I have just downloaded the Inkscape software recently and i have been using the seamless pattern template i have noticed a whole bunch of issues. The first one was i would be halfway through my work and it would start not responding i now just save all my work often to avoid this being a bother. Still does anyone know why this would keep happening also a even worse problem is that i was making a seamless pattern which was fine at the beginning but when i later tried to duplicate the pattern tile later it was not seamless anymore my cherries matched up fine but my pears did not. I checked back to see if they matched up at the start and they did all i did was copy the original pattern and it was not seamless no more so that was annoying. Then i decided to start again so i restarted my laptop and this time at the beginning my seamless pattern tile was not even putting my image on the other side of the tile like it normally does. I really wanted to be able to use this software but i can not even manage to get one pattern out of it. Is it my laptop which is the problem i use windows 10 i have got version 1.0.2 Inkscape and my laptop memory is 4GB CPU intel dual core up to 2.16GHZ. Thanks for your help.
Here is the SVG of the box not reflecting the image back on the other side there should be an image on the top of the box, it normally does this its self.
I have just had a look and its only not reflecting back when i put it on mm from px or cm from px also it only stops working when i alter the chosen measurements for the box, if i leave the measurements that it already puts in there it works fine.
Ive been playing around with it and it wont let me do the page smaller than 26cm i need it at 10cm and below it will resize the page but the picture will not reflect back on the other side when the page is below 26cm or 1000 px

I'd keep it simple and see if it behaves as expected.
Feel free to share an example Inkscape SVG that we can examine.

I'd try opening a new document from template, with the custom height and width set to 378px. this will create a 10cm page and should function better.
