Beginners' Questions Saving to PDF file with choice to make individual oversized graphics automatically tile to A4 or Letter sized pages

    Hi everyone,

Often I need to save my Inkscape files to PDF for others to print out. I am regularly asked if the 'over-sized' or Gross-format images can be given to the receiver with the 'PDF page size for printing' already formatted. i.e. So the large image is tiled over A4, or A3 or Letter-sized pages ready for printing immediately. Are there any PDF saving settings available to do this in Inkscape?

**Background: I know it is easy to instruct Adobe Reader do this automatically using the 'Tile all pages' option, where any sized over-sized graphic can be printed straight on whatever page size I tell my printer to use. However, unfortunately not all my colleagues elsewhere can do that (or simply cannot understand the concept when explained- sorry, I'm not trying to be critical of them) and some have tied themselves in knots about it🤔. Hence my question to try and prevent them finding the printing of my large graphics difficult.

I hope you can help and thank you.

    Nothing automatic, AFAIK.

This video is one way to do the process:
