Beginners' Questions Image with transparent background shows a background

    I am trying to add a png image with a transparent background to a project, however, when it prints, the background of the picture (under the "transparent" portion is slightly darker than the underlying layer (even though the background should be "transparent".

    Maybe there´s a filter involved or Opacity is not set to 0 (zero) at a certain point or layer etc...
