Beginners' Questions How Do I Disable This?

Hello, It's been years since I have used Inkscape. I downloaded it again after hearing about the newest version 1.0. Congratulations.

The behavior: when you miss a tool, and click the toolbar itself, you move the whole GUI. See Video Example.

The request: Can this behavior be disable? Since Inkscape is opensource, is it possible for someone with some basic coding knowledge make this sort of change for a custom build?

I'm not seeing an example video.
I cannot replicate the issue here with Linux.

Please describe your OS & version, the version of Inkscape and the installer you used.

@TylerDurden I was able to replicate the issue with Inkscape 1.0 in Windows 10. In both full screen and windowed mode, on the top and the two sides, left-click-dragging an empty space with no buttons or input boxes causes the whole window to be restored down and gets dragged along as if it's a dockable window. In my case, left-click-dragging any empty space between two sets of icons or input boxes can cause it, except for the left side, where you have to be very close to the edge of the window. Also, it did not happen in any case while left-click-dragging empty spaces at the bottom of the window.

@dzwx I don't know if there is a way to stop it using some settings in Inkscape, but I recommend that you use the shortcut keys for the tools. Almost all of the tools have a single-key shortcut that are easier to press and faster to use than to find them in the tool bar. Once you start using the shortcuts, you'll eventually end up memorizing them.

I never noticed this issue until I read this post. I mostly use the shortcut keys and, like I mentioned before, I have to be dragging very close to the left edge of the window for it to happen.
