    has anyone else also had a problem launching Inkscape after the Fedora 40 (Gnome 46) update?

    the programme won't launch whatsoever. tried all official repos and I even older appimages that worked on Fedora 39. I cannot get the software running, it crashes right on launch and I've got ongoing projects I;ve got to complete... I reported the bug, I've seen others who reported similar issues but no conclusive response on what's going on or if there's a solution in sight.

    no. it's unplugged. I've already been through this nightmare earlier this year and found out it's not possible to launch inkscape with the graphics tablet connected.

    this time it won't solve it. must be another issue. thing is, people who are using fedora 40 have also reported similar bugs but I wasn't able to find a developer reaction to any of it.

    I'd seriously consider using another distro to get the work done. Mint PPA is working quite well, but I can't say how well with tablets.
