Beginners' Questions Convert image to 4-corner path

    Hi,

    I just want to convert a rectangular image into a 4-corner path so I could then distort it and give it a perspective effect.

    When I try the Object to Path option, it responds that there is no object in the selection.

    I don't believe the Trace Bitmap is the right tool in this case as it decomposes my images in too many layers.

    I have attached a visual description of what I intend to achieve.

    That´s a job for a raster image editor like GIMP - but you need the 2 images separately.

    Or trace the field and players - group them and call Path effect->Perspective and align with the field of that birds eye image:
