Hi,
I would like to change the default page orientation in Inkscape 0.92 from portrait to landscape. Where can I do that?
TIA,
Claus
Like so:
many thanks, but I can't seem to find the option 'Save as Template'. I can only find 'Open as Template'.
No idea what´s up on your side:
'Save template' is not present in my menu (Inkscape 0.92 on Ubuntu MATE 20.04).

Don´t know how to help any further. 😩
after installing the new Inkscape 1.0, it is there alright! 😉
I wasn´t aware that it´s feature of 1.0 - hopefully it will work out for you.
I could change the default template without a problem. 😉
Me too. Glad you asked. 😁
Inkscape .92.xx and earlier can save default.svg to their user-profile Templates directory*.
*(Some users may need to save to desktop first, and then copy to user templates directory, due to security permissions.)
