I've been trying to install the InkStitch for several days. I've been following the recommendations on InkStitch website and also the Facebook Inkscape/InkStitch but have been unsuccessful. I've gotten the 2 known errors (1) functions grayed out (2) cannot be opened, because the developer cannot be verified. I decided to totally start over and delete Inkscape from my MacBook Pro running Big Sur Version 11.2.1. I also emptied may Trash. I reinstall Inkscape 1.0.1 without any problem. I then made a comment on FB that the recommendation didn't work for me. They asked me for more details, so I repeated their recommended process. I posted my reply and told them that I noticed that when I did the Terminal Command
But this time when I tried to open the Inkscape program it first asked the question if I wanted to accept the download and I answered yes. But then several seconds passed and the Quiting Unexpectedly window opened. If I hit Reopen it will produce another error window. I'm attaching a pdf file of the error message that is sent to Apple.
So I've completely lost the function of Inkscape, not just the InkStitch extension. Any help in resolving the problem would be greatly appreciated.

I received the message telling me no such file or directory existed. See below.
The default interactive shell is now zsh.
To update your account to use zsh, please run `chsh -s /bin/zsh`.
