The Roland Stika SV-15 design cutter is installed as a printer on a Windows 10 computer.

I have several times simply created a text file and then chosen File> Print and it cuts the vinyl without an issue.

Importing a Bitmap and removing the background through Path> Trace Bitmap works nicely to remove the background, however, it fails to print (send to the vinyl cutter and start cutting).

I have checked "Edit paths by node" and it is all as expected.

Suggestions please :)

EDIT:  The issue ended up being very simple; without the border showing, the Bitmap image was not in fact on the document.  Moved it onto the document, and it prints (cuts) as expected, straight from Inkscape to the Roland.
