Hi all

I'm using 1.1-dev (1:0.92.0+devel+202005110039+9ce7266) on UBUNTU 18.04

and there's no files under the "recent files" menu.
Is this a bug?

I seem to recall having something similar a few years back and, for me, it was an Ubuntu setting, rather than an application issue. I can't quite remember the specifics, but there was a setting that logged your activity and I had turned it off, and that was the issue. It was a few years back though (this was in the days of the Unity desktop), and I'm not sure if that Activity thing is still in ubuntu (I use KDE now, and I don't think it's there any more.)

Just out of interest... do you have Gimp installed? Can you see recent files in Gimp?

@z3z You are right... I'm dumb... I had completely forgotten that I had turned off this button in the privacy setting on Ubuntu.... Thanks for pointing that out
