Hi there, I posted about this issue recently and thought it had resolved itself, but I was wrong... When I use 'union' on text, it causes the perimeter of some of the letters to have gaps. I've attached both a screenshot and inkscape file with an example. In the inkscape file the gap is visible if you view it view > display mode > outline.
OK, here is the original file before the path operation. In the previous file and screenshot, the break in the perimeter is on the bottom of the 'L'- Thanks!

Any ideas as to what the issue might be? Thanks!
Again, not seeing it here.
Feel free to share the original Inkscape file before the path operation.

OK, finally see the issue. I had to look at the file from an earlier topic to see it.
This is not a true break in the path... it's a display/rendering artifact. Nothing wrong with the text at all.
I was able to make it go away by using Path>Simplify.
Oh, great! Thank you so much- Really appreciate your help with this!
